Founded in 2005, We Are Busy Bodies began as an extension of a concert promotion company. The label and management company mandate has remained unchanged, which is to release records by friends and work with artists we believe in. To date, the label has over 50 releases, with 15 planned between October 2019 and December 2020.
We Are Busy Bodies the record label are not genre specific. We release what we want, when we want and try to have fun with the formats. Previous releases or label alumni include METZ, Doldrums, Julie Doiron, Japanther, Jaye Jayle, Young Governor, Gary Wilson, Chad VanGaalen, Rock Plaza Central, Meligrove Band, Odonis Odonis, Limblifter and many others.
